FIRST AMATEUR TO QUALIFY FOUR DOGS FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Sean Derrig and Erin Kennels have the great distinction of making The Nationals history. Not only is this the first time an amateur has owned and handled 4 dogs in the National, Sean also put all qualifying wins on them.  

The qualifiers included Erin’s Bad River, Erin’s Stoney River, Erin’s Whiskey River and Erin’s Kentucky Gambler.

CH Erin’s Bad River Competes in the 2008 National Championship in Grand Junction

At only three years of age, Bad River competed in the 2008 National Field Trial Championship. He laid down a powerful and sustaining three hour race punctuated by three good finds. We are very proud of his performance.

CH Erin’s Tin Soldier Wins 2007 Amateur Invitational Championship

Excerpt from the Ames Plantation site:
…The final brace during the call back series was one to remember. Erin’s Tin Soldier had 1 find at about the 9 minute mark and put in one of the best all-age ground races seen on Ames Plantation in several years. Soldier was running to the extreme during his entire hour.
